News from the Schalker Regenbogenschule

A very special event took place in a canteen kitchen at the VELTINS-Arena on December 2. Together with Schalke striker Bryan Lasme, the FtK children from the Regenbogenschule cut out countless figures from light and dark shortcrust pastry. The children’s faces spoke volumes and, together with Bryan Lasme, they were highly concentrated and very hard at work. The cookie baking campaign produced around 500 small bags, which Schalke hilft! will be distributing at various events in the coming weeks until Christmas. Photo credit: Fotodesign Karsten Rabas

On May 27, the children set off on the “Mythos Tour” together with their coaches and teachers. The plan was to get to know the district of Gelsenkirchen, Schalke and the history of the club better. Pupils from the Friedrich Grillo School and the Rainbow School embarked on the Mythos Tour. It was an exciting experience where everyone learned a lot about the fascinating history and legends of the region. The children were delighted with the places they visited. It was a great experience that was both educational and entertaining!
