Our team
Our office team consists of our founding director, our director, three project managers, and an office manager. We are also supported by dedicated working students and temporary staff.
We attach great importance to our team spirit and “cross-departmental” cooperation. This means we are always closely coordinated and can solve tasks and challenges on an interdisciplinary basis. What drives us together is the vision of a fair society in which all children and young people have the same educational opportunities.
Karin Plötz
Founding Director
Karin started the first “Fußball trifft Kultur” project at Frankfurt’s Karmeliterschule in 2007 and has since established LitCam as a non-profit organization. In 2024, Karin was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit for her many years of commitment.

Director
Kaspar joined the team in September and succeeds Karin as director of LitCam. He has been involved in promoting reading for many years and is responsible for projects such as the “Reading Aloud Contest” and “World Book Day,” among others.
Lotte Droß
Project manager & child protection officer
Together with Karin, Lotte coordinates and organizes our Germany-wide educational program “Fußball trifft Kultur”. She maintains contact with our coaches and teachers and is responsible for the FtK events. She is also LitCam’s child protection officer.

Office Manager
Anna is responsible for office management and takes care of administrative tasks in the office. She assists Karin and supports her with organizational tasks. Anna also helps with projects such as “Fußball trifft Kultur” and “Lese-Kicker”.

Husein is in charge of fundraising. He manages our donors, works to recruit new supporters, and is responsible for our impact analysis.

Nina is primarily responsible for our latest project, “Ich spreche Chancen.” She also serves as the child protection officer. Previously, she was in charge of “EUROKiK” and “Löwenstark – Fußball trifft Kultur.”
